Can I cancel or change a booking?
Yes, but what happens next depends on when the request is made, who initiates it, και what part of the payment is involved. Always check your signed contract and Celavivo’s cancellation policy.
🔁 Changing a booking (before the deposit)
- Before paying the deposit, you can:
- Message the vendor through Celavivo to clarify details
- Adjust event details or services by agreement
- No payment is involved at this stage
🔁 Changing a booking (after the deposit)
- After the deposit is paid and a contract is generated:
- Changes should be agreed before signing, where possible
- If changes are needed after a contract exists, a new contract may be required
- This process requires assistance from Celavivo Support
To avoid delays, it’s best to agree all terms before paying the deposit.
❌ Cancelling a booking
- Cancellation outcomes depend on:
- When the cancellation occurs
- Whether the customer or vendor cancels
Celavivo deposit (12%):
- A cash refund is available only within the 24-hour cooling-off period, provided the event is at least 14 days away
- After that, the deposit is δεν επιστρέφεται for customer-initiated cancellations
- If the vendor cancels, Celavivo will first attempt to offer replacements; otherwise, a Celavivo credit/coupon may be issued
Vendor fees (remaining balance):
- Governed only by the vendor’s own cancellation policy
- Defined in the vendor’s listing and the signed contract
