How Bookings Work on Celavivo (Guests, Approval & Payment Flow)

This article explains how bookings work on Celavivo, including when guests are required, how vendor approval works, and how payments are completed.


1. Categories That Require Guest Selection

Η number of guests is required only for specific categories, because pricing depends on attendance.

✅ Guest selection is required for:

  • Catering
  • Χώροι Εκδηλώσεων

For these categories:

  • Customers select the event date
  • Customers select the number of guests
  • The total cost is calculated automatically
  • A deposit amount is shown before booking

2. Categories That Do NOT Require Guest Selection

For all other categories, guests are NOT required, because pricing is package-based or service-based.

❌ Guest selection is NOT required for:

  • DJs
  • Φωτογράφοι
  • Makeup Artists
  • Κομμωτική
  • Ανθοπωλεία
  • Decorations
  • Ψυχαγωγία
  • Fireworks & Special Effects
  • Προσκλητήρια
  • Jewelry
  • Υπηρεσίες Μεταφοράς
  • Event Planning
  • Ρούχα Γάμου & Βάφτισης
  • Cakes & Sweets (non-catering)

For these categories:

  • Customers select the event date
  • Customers select services or packages
  • Customers click Confirm and Book
  • The booking request is sent to the vendor for approval

3. What Happens After a Booking Request Is Sent

After a customer submits a booking request:

📩 Vendor action

  • The vendor receives the booking request
  • The vendor can Approve ή Reject the request

📧 Customer notification

  • The customer receives an email:
    • Approval email if approved
    • Rejection email if rejected

Customers are always notified of the vendor’s decision.


4. Payment After Vendor Approval

Once a vendor approves a booking:

  1. The customer receives an approval email
  2. The customer goes to:
    • Dashboard → My Bookings
  3. The booking will show as Εγκεκριμένες
  4. A “Pay” button will appear

5. 48-Hour Payment Window (Important)

  • Customers have 48 hours to complete payment
  • Clicking Pay redirects the customer to checkout
  • The customer pays the deposit through the platform

⏳ If payment is NOT completed within 48 hours:

  • The booking is automatically cancelled
  • The vendor is notified
  • The date becomes available again

6. Deposit & Final Payment

  • The platform collects a deposit to secure the booking
  • Η υπόλοιπο ποσό is paid directly to the vendor on-site
  • The deposit amount is clearly shown before confirmation

7. Summary of the Booking Flow

Customer

  1. Selects date (and guests if required)
  2. Submits booking request

3. Reviews request
4. Approves or rejects

Customer
5. Receives email notification
6. Pays deposit within 48 hours (if approved)

System
7. Confirms booking or cancels automatically if unpaid
