How does a booking work on Celavivo? (Start to finish)
Bookings on Celavivo follow a clear step-by-step process. The exact flow depends on the vendor’s plan.
Steps 1–3 are the same for all vendors
1. Search and choose a vendor Browse vendors by event type, date, and location. Review profiles, services, photos, and reviews.
2. Send a booking request Select your event date and details and submit a booking request. 👉 No payment is made at this stage.
3. Vendor reviews your request The vendor checks availability and either approves or declines the request. You will be notified by email either way.
Steps 4 onwards depend on the vendor’s plan
Commission-based vendors
- Pay the booking fee If approved, a Pay button appears in Dashboard → My Bookings. You are prompted to pay a booking fee through Celavivo to confirm and lock the date. ⏳ You have 48 hours to complete payment. If unpaid, the booking is automatically cancelled.
- Contract is generated and signed
- A digital contract is created automatically after payment
- The vendor signs first, then the customer
- The final signed contract is stored in Dashboard → My Contracts
- Event preparation and completion
- The remaining balance is paid directly to the vendor before or on the day of the event
- The event takes place as agreed in the contract
✅ A booking is fully confirmed once the booking fee is paid and both parties have signed the contract.
